Organizational capacity of youths in Gash-Barka region gaining strength

A work assessment meeting held in Barentu disclosed that efforts are being stepped up to strengthen the participation and organizational capacity of youths in Gash-Barka region, especially remote areas.
Barentu, 27 September 2010 – A work assessment meeting held in Barentu disclosed that efforts are being stepped up to strengthen the participation and organizational capacity of youths in Gash-Barka region, especially remote areas.

Reports indicated that the NUEYS branch in the region has opened offices in 35 administrative areas to this end. The meeting also took note of the encouraging outcome registered as regards the tasks undertaken to raise the awareness of youths, especially in remote areas, besides enabling them to become competitive and dynamic.

The head of the NUEYS branch, Mr. Luji Hussein, pointed out that the opening of the office in administrative areas would continue in an enhanced manner.
