Asmara, 28 September 2010 – The Ministry of Agriculture gave training to 35 staff members of the national forestation and wildlife resource control unit from all administrative regions with a view to upgrading their skills.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony yesterday, the director general of regulations and control department in the Ministry, Mr. Tekleab Misgina, who handed certificates to the trainees, said that the group shoulder heavy responsibility for the effective implementation of the proclamation as regards the preservation of forest and wildlife resources.
He further noted that such training would be enhanced in the future, and that the Ministry is striving to tackle the loopholes being encountered.
