The branch office of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare in Adi-Keih sub-zone extended financial and material assistance for enabling needy students to pursue their education. Adi-Keih, 30 September 2010 – The branch office of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare in Adi-Keih sub-zone extended financial and material assistance for enabling needy students to pursue their education.
The head of the branch office, Mr. Rezene Gebreamlak, said that a total of 132 students received full school materials in which 84 of them obtained financial assistance. Moreover, he disclosed that draught animals were distributed to disabled students. Parents of the beneficiaries lauded the support saying that it would enable the students to concentrate on their studies.
Reports indicated that the branch office is also organizing training courses on enhancing relations between employers and employees, as well as raise awareness about labor law.
