Tessenei, 4 October 2010 – The concerned party should put an end to the illegal and unfair practices being resorted to on the part of private buses and minibuses that are providing public service originating from Tessenei terminal, stated customers.
They explained that such bus owners are only keen to give service to passengers that possess property so as to charge him/her high tariff, thus depriving transport service to persons without heavy material. The customers went on to say that although such incidences have been reported to the concerned party, no concrete steps have so far been taken to tackle the problem.
In this respect, they highlighted the fact that such buses are deployed only to serve passengers and not property, and called on bus owners to rectify such unethical practices. The customers also voiced embitterment for not getting efficient transport service as a result of bad management practices.
The customers, however, commended the responsible work of Setaie Bus Association and Harat which need to be emulated by private bus owners.
