Libena, 9 October 2010 – The inhabitants of Libena administrative area, Hamelmalo sub-zone, expressed appreciation for becoming beneficiaries of electricity service.
They explained that they have been calling for the installation of power supply that was eventually realized. The inhabitants further noted that on top of its vital contribution in improving their life style, the introduction of electricity service has already enabled them to properly follow up national and international situations.
They went on to say that it would facilitate the pace of urbanization in the area with the growing number of service-rendering institutions, in addition to preventing deforestation.
The Administrator of the area, Mr. Matewos Lukas, indicated on his part that about 140 power counters have already been distributed and that more than 800 families have already become beneficiaries of electricity supply.
