The 2nd African-Arabian Summit in Sirte city, Libya, which President Isaias Afwerki attended has concluded.
Asmara, 11 October 2010 – The 2nd African-Arabian Summit in Sirte city, Libya, which President Isaias Afwerki attended has concluded.
The Summit that was held on October 10 in which a number of Heads of State from African and Arabian countries took part aimed at opening a new stage for the existing partnership of relations and cooperation among such countries. Reports indicated that the participants of the Summit reached understanding on agenda items helpful to this end.
It is to be noted that the 1st African-Arabian Summit was held in 1977 in Cairo.
It is to be recalled that President Isaias left for Libya on October 9 to attend the latest Summit.
