Government issues Legal Notice regarding marine transport

The Government of Eritrea has issued Legal Notice regarding regulations on standards of training, certification, safe manning, hours of work and watch-keeping as regards marine transport.
Asmara, 12 October 2010 – The Government of Eritrea has issued Legal Notice regarding regulations on standards of training, certification, safe manning, hours of work and watch-keeping as regards marine transport.

The Legal Notice No. 118/2010 comprises 8 Chapters and 50 Articles dealing with certification and recognition of certificates, quality standards, hovercraft, safe manning, hours of work, watch-keeping and the like.

Legal Notice No. 118/2010 has been published on the Gazette of Eritrean Laws in both the Tigrinya and English languages.
