Mereb Development National Construction Company implementing projects worth Nfa. 46 million

Mereb Development National Construction Company is implementing various development projects worth over 45.8 million Nakfa in Southern and Central regions.
Dekemhare, 12 October 2010 – Mereb Development National Construction Company is implementing various development projects worth over 45.8 million Nakfa in Southern and Central regions.

The Manager of the Company, Lt. Colonel Haile Mesfin, indicated that the projects involves the construction of 4 schools, including 2 secondary schools in Kuatit semi-urban center and Dekemhare town, Southern region, as well as 2 junior schools in Ziban-Angeb and  Embeito, Central region.

Each school comprises 14 blocs involving 5 classrooms and another 7 classrooms serving for libraries, laboratories, staff offices and the like.  Noting that the schools are being constructed through active popular participation, Lt. Colonel Haile further explained that restrooms that took into account disabled persons, ponds with the capacity of holding about 90 cubic meters of water each and other facilities are also being put in place. 

Reports indicated that the construction of the school would relieve students who used to travel long distance to attend classes due to lack of educational institution in their respective area.
