Ministry Offers Training To New Staff Members In Southern Region

The Ministry of Land, Water and Environment branch in the Southern region has offered training course to 80 newly assigned staff members from 12 sub-zones.
Mendefera, 13 October 2010 – The Ministry of Land, Water and Environment branch in the Southern region has offered training course to 80 newly assigned staff members from 12 sub-zones.

The training given in Mendefera town dealt with the structure and activities of the Ministry, proclamations and regulations adopted in all sectors, as well as the rights and duties of nationals, judicious management of water and environment resources, among others.

The head of the branch office, Mr. Hailemichael Eyob, called on the trainees to deepen their newly acquired knowledge through practical work, and thereby live up to expectations.

The director of the Minister’s office in the Ministry of Land, Water and Environment, Mr. Tsegai Teamrat, on his part stressed the significance of such training in upgrading their knowledge and facilitating work performance.
