Foreign Minister Conducts Seminar For Eritrean Nationals In Jeddah And Environs

The Eritrean Foreign Minister, Mr. Osman Saleh, conducted a seminar for nationals residing in Jeddah and its environs regarding the objective situation in the Homeland as well as the ongoing development endeavors.

Asmara, 17 October 2010 – The Eritrean Foreign Minister, Mr. Osman Saleh, conducted a seminar for nationals residing in Jeddah and its environs regarding the objective situation in the Homeland as well as the ongoing development endeavors.

He stated that vigorous endeavors are underway through the joint efforts of the people, Government and members of the Defense Forces to achieve food security, in addition to putting in place of basic social service facilities. Mr. Osman also said that impressive achievements have so far been registered.

The Minister also pointed out that the good rainy season was additional impetus for the on-going activities, and as such the construction of infrastructure facilities to raise agricultural production per year so as to achieve food security would be further reinforced.

Mr. Osman commended the contribution of the Eritrean communities in Jeddah and its environs towards the national development drive, and called on them to enhance their participation.
