Asmara, 17 October 2010 – Tourists expressed admiration for the prevailing peace and stability in Eritrea, as well as its beautiful landscape and hospitable people.
Dr. Matthias Ullnbr from Austria, who came to Eritrea for the 10th time, said that he has observed progress in the country in general and in the health sector in particular in each of his visits. He also said that he has been able to visit to Keren, Nacfa and other areas by car and train, and he feels secure in Eritrea unlike other African countries.
Also, Dr. Marcus Riccabona, who came for 11th time said that he has deep love for the Eritrean people and the country, and expressed admiration for the development progress he witnessed in the past five years.
Indicating that he knew Eritrea through reading books, Professor Michael Riccabona, on his part expressed his impression with the Eritrea people engaged in development activities to become self-supporting, and said that Eritrea is attractive for tourists by all measurements.
Another visitor, Eibensteiner Sandra said that the prevailing peace and stability together with the hospitable people makes one’s visit impressive, and expressed conviction that the country would be an important tourist attraction in the future.
