Coordinated endeavors imperative for enabling vision-impaired persons become self-supporting

The Eritrean National Association for the Blind highlighted the need for making coordinated endeavors on the part of the entire society and government institutions so that vision-impaired persons may lead an improved life style and become competitive. 
Asmara, 18 October 2010 – The Eritrean National Association for the Blind highlighted the need for making coordinated endeavors on the part of the entire society and government institutions so that vision-impaired persons may lead an improved life style and become competitive. 

The Association indicated that it is working tirelessly to guarantee the rights and interests of visually-impaired persons, inculcating positive perception among the society towards the blind, improving their standard of living, creating conducive ground for vision-impaired nationals to upgrade their vocational skill and educational level, among others.

It is also doing its level best in assisting needy members, besides offering various vocational and academic training courses to upgrade their skill, especially that of female vision-impaired nationals. The Association also called on the general public to enhance contribution in promoting their participation in all aspects.
