Sudanese Council for Educational Development regarding nomadic lifestyle makes donation

The Sudanese Council for Educational Development regarding nomadic lifestyle extended material donation to Eritrean counterpart. The donation was made inline with the agreement reached between the Eritrean Ministry of Education and the Sudanese institution.
Arbateasher, 21 October 2010 – The Sudanese Council for Educational Development regarding nomadic lifestyle extended material donation to Eritrean counterpart. The donation was made inline with the agreement reached between the Eritrean Ministry of Education and the Sudanese institution.

Speaking at the ceremony held in Arbateasher, the director of general education in the Ministry of Education, Mr. Musa Naib, indicated that the donation was contributed on the basis of the agreement reached during the visit to Sudan by Mr. Semere Russom, the Minister of Education, and department heads from the Ministry.

Mr. Musa said that the donation would make due contribution in the Eritrea endeavors to develop educational opportunity for nationals leading a nomadic lifestyle.

Ms. Haja Gendur, who headed the Sudanese team, said that the donation is in line with the existing brotherly relations between the people of the two countries.

The donation includes a full set of educational material to 1,000 students, 50 mobile solar energy devices and 30 tents for conducting classes in areas inhabited by nationals leading a nomadic pattern of life.
