Ti’o, 25 October 2010 – The junior and secondary boarding school in Ti’o semi-urban center is providing educational opportunity to about 400 students from remote villages of the Northern and Southern Red Sea regions, according to Mr. Isak Kahsai, director of the school.
He indicated that the school which was constructed in modern style and equipped with the necessary facilities began providing service in 2005. Since then, the participation of students in education, especially females continues to gain momentum with each passing year, Mr. Isak added.
The head of administration in the boarding school, Mr. Kedir Mussa, on his part called on the Education Ministry to take steps towards expanding the dormitory and cafeteria facilities in the school.
The Ti’o Junior and Secondary Boarding School is providing educational opportunity to students from Asagala, Ayumen, Halhal, Ferer, Igroli, Hamerti, Aitos, Adailo and Miedir, Northern Red Sea region, and from Gelalo, Bada, Denanlo, Hirgigo, Tiranta, Gedem, Diluh and Berdoli in the Southern Red Sea region.
