The residents of Dekemhare town are undertaking various activities focusing on renovating streets which were damaged by excessive flooding and promoting environmental sanitation.
Dekemhare, 26 October 2010 – The residents of Dekemhare town are undertaking various activities focusing on renovating streets which were damaged by excessive flooding and promoting environmental sanitation.

Reports indicated that on top of the renovation activities, the residents are carrying out popular campaign in their respective areas. The town residents stated that such development activities would continue in an enhanced manner.

In a reply he gave to complaints from the residents regarding the negative effect of the major river in the town to public health, the head of administration and finance in Dekemhare sub-zone, Mr. Kiros Gebremariam, admitted its dire effect to environmental sanitation and pointed out that the regional Administration is doing its level best to renovate it.
