Inhabitants Of Bilenayo To Redouble Endeavors Towards Improving Living Standard

In a meeting with the inhabitants of Bilenayo administrative area, the Administrator of Laelai-Gash sub-zone, Mr. Abraham Haile, called on the local inhabitants to enhance participation in the on-going endeavors to improve their living standards.

Laelai-Gash, 27 October 2010 – In a meeting with the inhabitants of Bilenayo administrative area, the Administrator of Laelai-Gash sub-zone, Mr. Abraham Haile, called on the local inhabitants to enhance participation in the on-going endeavors to improve their living standards.

He explained that ensuring animal feed is an integral part of endeavors to achieve food security and stressed the need for undertaking both farming and herding activities in a coordinated manner.

Mr. Abraham highlighted the significance of reserve areas and rangelands in ensuring animal feed and raising dairy farm productivity.  In this connection, he called on them to make increased contribution to this end.

The commander of police force in the sub-zone, Capt. Habtu Woldeab, on his part urged the local inhabitants to enhance awareness regarding law and enhance participation in crime prevention.
