Mereb Development Construction Company Gives Training To 135 Members

Mereb Development Construction Company gave a 4-month training course in five different fields to about 135 staff members and members of the Defense Ministry.

Dekemhare, 27 October 2010 –  Mereb Development Construction Company gave a 4-month training course in five different fields to about 135 staff members and members of the Defense Ministry.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the director of training center in the Company, Mr. Dawit Gebreab, pointed out that the Company is giving such training for the second time on the basis of internal capacity with a view to upgrading the skill of Defense Force members.

The graduating batch includes 26 in metal works, 32 in electricity, 33 in plumbing and 19 in general metal work. He went on to express appreciation to Dembesko Technical School and the Dekemhare government garage , as well as instructors for making due contribution for the success of the program.

Likewise, Brig. General Eyob Fisehaye, pointed out that the Ministry of Defense is working diligently to upgrade the skill and knowledge of members so as to reinforce their contribution in the national development drive.

Also on the occasion, Maj. General Omar Hassen Tewil and other officials handed certificates to graduates and monetary incentives to those who demonstrated excellence in the course.
