The Administrator of Gash-Barka region, Mr. Musa Rab’a called on cattle breeding dairy farmers in Agordat sub-zone to step up efforts so as to meet market demand.

Agordat, 29 October 2010 – The Administrator of Gash-Barka region, Mr. Musa Rab’a called on cattle breeding dairy farmers in Agordat sub-zone to step up efforts so as to meet market demand.

He reminded them to develop animal greenery feed and introduce cattle with abundant milk in a bid to boost products in this domain.
The Administrator noted that the region has made the necessary preparations to reopen the milk factory.

The cattle breeding dairy farmers on their part stressed the need to provide market facilities, including electricity supply. Reports indicated that there exit four associations of cattle breeding dairy farmers.
