Ginda, 29 October 2010 – A training regarding general sanitation was offered in Ginda sub-zone to 22 community trainers from the sub-zones of Massawa, Foro, Gelalo, She’ib, Afabet and Nacfa.
The training aimed at providing community-based sanitation that focused on enhancing awareness about the advantage of toilets and related issues.
The head of the Health Ministry’ branch office in the Northern Red Sea region and coordinator of environmental sanitation, Mr. Hagos Milkias, called on the public at large to make relentless efforts towards ensuring sound ecology.
The trainees said that the campaign to raise the awareness of students regarding the negative consequence of unhealthy environment has borne fruitful outcome, and they expressed readiness to apply the knowledge they had acquired.
