Fruits and vegetable farming association in Tokombia called upon to boost production

The Administrator of Laelai-Gash, Mr. Abraham Haile, called on the fruits and vegetable farming association in Tokombia to redouble efforts towards boosting production.

Tokombia, 30 October 2010 – The Administrator of Laelai-Gash, Mr. Abraham Haile, called on the fruits and vegetable farming association in Tokombia to redouble efforts towards boosting production.

In a meeting with members of the association, he urged them to take the necessary initiatives towards strengthening the organizational capacity of the association and raising production through addressing the existing shortcomings.

The members on their part expressed readiness to rectify previous mistakes and work for the reorganization of the association. They also called for the collaboration of government institutions to this end.

The fruits and vegetable farming association in Tokombia was established in 2003 and has more than 60 members at present.
