Ti’o Community Hospital is playing significant role in ensuring mother and child care to the inhabitants of Ti’o, Miedir, Bihta and Adailo.

Ti’o, 2 November 2010 – Ti’o Community Hospital is playing significant role in ensuring mother and child care to the inhabitants of Ti’o, Miedir, Bihta and Adailo.

The head of the Health Ministry’s branch in Araeta sub-zone, Mr. Niguse Kahsai, stated that the community hospital provides service focusing on basic health care, delivery and treatment of non-communicable disease.

He went on to say that the awareness of the public regarding environmental sanitation and prevention of communicable diseases is on the rise, and that the number of patients visiting the hospital is equally growing.

Mothers who give birth at the community hospital told ERINA that their babies and themselves are in good condition as a result of the proper medical checkups being provided at the hospital. They further called on pregnant mothers not only to give birth at the community hospital but also make regular pre-and post-delivery medical checkups.
