Asmara, 4 November 2010 – The main cause of public transport accidents is due to negligence of drivers and poor control of terminals, according to beneficiaries.

They said that cases of extra passengers in public transport service and insufficient checkups of the state of vehicles are some of the causes. The beneficiaries further stressed the need for remedial steps so as to overcome the incidence of accidents in public transport.
