Over 33,000 Livestock Vaccinated In Areza Sub-Zone

Over 33,000 livestock have been vaccinated in 22 administrative areas of Areza sub-zone, stated Mr. Teklebirhan Woldemariam, veterinary at the branch office of the Ministry of Agriculture in the sub-zone. He said that the program was conducted in two phases.

Mr. Teklebirhan further explained that the livestock are in good condition as a result of the available sufficient grass, and called on the local inhabitants to vaccinate their livestock in time.

Mr. Melake Abera, one of the livestock owners, expressed satisfaction with the continuous vaccination campaign, and stressed the need to exert similar efforts to combat diseases affecting goats.
