Eritrean Cycling Team Stands 1st In Chronometer Race In Rwanda

The Eritrean national cycling team currently participating in the African Continental Cycling Championship 2010 in Rwanda stood first in the chronometer race today. Asmara, 10 November 2010 – The Eritrean national cycling team currently participating in the African Continental Cycling Championship 2010 in Rwanda stood first in the chronometer race today.

In the 43 Km-long chronometer race in which 15 countries took part, the Eritrean national team scored an impressive pace, thus outpacing the South African rival by 2 minutes. 

The next competition of the national team would be held next Friday in which two cyclists of the team would participate in the chronometer race at the individual level. The team would subsequently participate in the final race covering 144 kilometers scheduled to take place  on Sunday.
