A new dental clinic has been set up in Massawa city through the collaboration of the Health Ministry and the Eritrean Collaboration Association in Germany.
Massawa, 10 November 2010 – A new dental clinic has been set up in Massawa city through the collaboration of the Health Ministry and the Eritrean Collaboration Association in Germany.
The clinic put in place in Amatere is equipped with modern equipments extended by the Association whose members are Eritrean and German nationals. It is also expected to enhance the dental care service being provided in Massawa Hospital.
Speaking at the handing ceremony, the head of the Ministry’s branch in Northern Red Sea region, Mr. Abraham Yemane, expressed appreciation to the Association for its contribution and that the newly set up clinic would render dental care service to residents of the port city and surrounding sub-zones.
The clinic would essentially focus on undertaking campaign and lecture on the significance of dental care for children.
Likewise, Dr. Jens Peter who handed the equipments in the name of the Eritrean Collaboration Association in Germany said that the Association has been collaborating with the Asmara Dental Care since 1999. He further asserted that such contribution would continue to alleviate shortage of dental care service in Massawa city.
The residents of the area expressed satisfaction with the opening of a new dental clinic in the area.
