Asmara, 10 November 2010 – Employees of service-rendering institutions need to enhance participation in training course offered at the workplace as it has vital role to play in rendering efficient service, stated Mr. Yemane Sium, owner of Median Hotel.
He made the remarks during the graduation ceremony of the hotel’s employees who took course on familiarizing themselves with international work methodology as regards hotel. The training aimed at according warm hospitality to customers, especially providing service that meets the expectation of customers.
Mr. Sium Woldu from the Federation of Employers on his part stressed the importance of fostering coordination among employees and employers in providing quality service.
Mr. Wim Leicher, a Dutch national who offered the training course expressed admiration to the Eritrean people’s noble culture of according warm hospitality to guests, and that he has a lot to learn from such cultural practice.
