Athlete Teklemariam stands 1st in World Cross Country Championship in Portugal

Eritrean Athlete Teklemariam Medhin stood first in the World Cross Country in Lisbon, Portugal yesterday.
Asmara, 14 November 2010 – Eritrean Athlete Teklemariam Medhin stood first in the World Cross Country in Lisbon, Portugal yesterday.

Athlete Teklemariam is winning a second victory within a week, finishing 9Km distance of hills and sands by 28 minutes and 33 seconds.

Athlete Kidane Tadesse has also finished four seconds after Teklemariam.

It is to be recalled that the 21-year-old Eritrean Athlete Teklemariam stood first in world Cross Country Championship held in Burgos, Spain on Sunday.
