Eritrean National Team Scored Outstanding Victory In Final Competition Of African Continental Cyclist Championship

The African Continental Cyclist Championship-2010 in Rwanda concluded by the outstanding victory of the Eritrean National team.
Asmara, 14 November 2010 – The African Continental Cyclist Championship-2010 in Rwanda concluded by the outstanding victory of the Eritrean National team. 

In today’s race covering 144 kilometers, Eritrean cyclist Daniel Teklehaimanot stood first followed by Meron Russom ranking second and Dawit Haile and Natnael Birhane stood 5th and 7th respectively. In addition, Daniel Teklehaimanot and Meron Russom and Natnael Birhan were awarded medallion.

According to the results, Eritrean cyclist Daniel Teklehaimanot and Meron Russom would participate in the London Olympic competition for 2012.

It is to be noted that the Eritrean national cyclist team stood first from 15 national teams covering 43Km in chronometer competition held on November 10 and cyclist Daniel stood first in one-to-one chronometer competition held on November 12.
