Eritrean nationals in Melbourne hold seminar

Eritrean nationals residing in the Australian city of Melbourne held seminar regarding the objective situation in the Homeland and the region.

Asmara, 18 November 2010 – Eritrean nationals residing in the Australian city of Melbourne held seminar regarding the objective situation in the Homeland and the region.

Speaking at the seminar, the Eritrea Consul General in Australia and New Zealand, Mr. Beshir Idris Nur, noted the on-going development programs in the country, and that significant achievements are being registered in the task of ensuring food security, developing infrastructure and upgrading manpower, as well as construction of schools.

Commending the contribution of nationals living in Australia and New Zealand, Mr. Beshir emphasized the need for stepping up efforts for the effective implementation of national development programs.

The participants of the seminar on their part express readiness to colorfully celebrate the 20th Independence Day Anniversary.
