Students of the Hagaz Agricultural Technical School are working diligently in translating the theoretical knowledge into practice, according to Brother Woldehawariat Haile, director of the school. Hagaz, 24 November 2010 – Students of the Hagaz Agricultural Technical School are working diligently in translating the theoretical knowledge into practice, according to Brother Woldehawariat Haile, director of the school.

He told ERINA that the school is currently providing a two-year course to 294 students in diverse fields of study, including Plant Science, Animal Science and Seed Science, as well as soil and water conservation. He further explained that the available facilities and resources in the school are making due contribution in facilitating the teaching-learning process.

Noting that special attention is being given to the task of achieving food security through introducing modern farming methods, Brother Woldehawariat stated that vigorous efforts are being exerted to ensure equal participation of both sexes in such courses.
