Various development programs underway in Hagaz sub-zone

A number of development activities are being undertaken in Hagaz sub-zone, according to Mr. Girmai Gide, head of development programs in the sub-zone.
Hagaz, 25 November 2010 – A number of development activities are being undertaken in Hagaz sub-zone, according to Mr. Girmai Gide, head of development programs in the sub-zone.

He told ERINA that a secondary school worth over 13 million Nakfa is under construction through Debwin Construction Company, and that 70% of the project has been completed.

Mr. Girmai further pointed out that a well in the locality has been renovated so as to provide reliable potable water supply to the inhabitants, and that an addition new 200 meter-long pipeline is being put in place to easy access to such service. Moreover, he said that research has been made to build modern livestock market.

The inhabitants expressed satisfaction with the provision of different social services.
