Eritrean Police gives lecture on crime prevention

The Eritrean Police gave a lecture in the Central region focusing on the role of the society in preventing crimes and accidents. Asmara, 29 November 2010 – The Eritrean Police gave a lecture in the Central region focusing on the role of the society in preventing crimes and accidents.

The Commander of the Eritrean Police, Col. Mehari Tsegai, outlined the types of crimes committed in the country and the actions taken to combat them. He further called on the general public and all institutions to raise awareness regarding security, and thereby enhance participation in such endeavors.

Col. Mehari pointed out that values and ethics are among the main weapons in combating crimes and highlighted the significance of undertaking continued public raising awareness.
