Asmara, 29 November 2010 – Members of Haben Construction Company stressed the need for reinforcing efforts to build human capacity as it has a vital role to play in ensuring all-round national development.
They commended the investment being made by the Government in providing vocational training opportunities to the youth which continue to bear fruitful outcome. In this connection, the members particularly lauded Haben Construction Company for taking praiseworthy steps in developing human resource. Noting that the Warsay-Yikaalo Development Campaign made significant contribution in acquiring skill with valuable experience, they said that the skill would pave the way for their bright future.
The members went on to say that prior to joining the company, they had no knowledge of building construction; at present, however, they have acquired rich experience in the field. The members stressed the significance of the various training programs offered to them in acquiring such a skill.
The general manager of the construction company, Col. Mehari Tesfamariam, pointed out that it has been providing skill-upgrading training programs to staff members, and that such courses would be enhanced in the future.
