Endeavors underway to alleviate potable water supply problem in Gelalu sub-zone

Endeavors are being stepped up in the digging of wells, distribution of water pipelines and construction of reservoirs in the administrative areas of Gelalu sub-zone, disclosed the head of infrastructure projects in the sub-zone, Mr. Fikadu Habteslasie.

Gelalu, 2 December 2010 –Endeavors are being stepped up in the digging of wells, distribution of water pipelines and construction of reservoirs in the administrative areas of Gelalu sub-zone, disclosed the head of infrastructure projects in the sub-zone, Mr. Fikadu Habteslasie.

In this regard, he explained that the Bodo water supply project at a cost of more than over 5 million Nakfa is making commendable progress. Mr. Fikadu further indicated that two water stations operating through solar energy have started rendering service, while solar energy facilities have been put in place in Gelalu and Adaita.
