The Immigration Station at the Arabaetasher checkpoint is providing commendable service to guests traveling to and fro Eritrea and Sudan for vacation and other purposes.
Tessenei, 3 December 2010 – The Immigration Station at the Arabaetasher checkpoint is providing commendable service to guests traveling to and fro Eritrea and Sudan for vacation and other purposes.

The travelers stated that the station is rendering efficient and speedy service and highlighted the need for introducing computerized mode of operation so as to register still greater performance. Reports indicated that the number of people that travel to and fro both countries is on the rise, and that the efficient service being provided is praiseworthy.

The head of the station, Mr. Mahmud Idris, told ERINA that vigorous efforts are being exerted to improve work methodology, especially taking into account the growing number of Sudanese couples visiting Eritrea to spend their honeymoon.

Mr. Tesfalem Kahsai, member of the Immigration Station, reminded visitors to possess the necessary documents so as to obtain speedy service.
