Presidents Isaias and Mubarek conduct discussion in Cairo
President Isaias Afwerki yesterday held talks in Cairo with President Hosni Mubarek of Egypt.
Asmara, 3 December 2010 – President Isaias Afwerki yesterday held talks in Cairo with President Hosni Mubarek of Egypt.
The two leaders conducted extensive discussion on developing bilateral relations and cooperation, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest to both countries.
Moreover, President Isaias held talks with the Secretary General of the Arab League, Mr. Amru Mussa, on the prevailing situation in the Horn region and Eritrea’s role in general and relations between Eritrea and member states of the League in particular.
It is to be noted that President Isaias arrived in Cairo yesterday following participation in the 3rd AU-EU Summit in Tripoli, Libya, from November 29 to 30.
The President returned home last night concluding working visits to Libya and Egypt.
