Teachers called upon to work tirelessly in nurturing dynamic youths

In a meeting with teachers and Parents Committee in Habero sub-zone, the head of the Education Ministry’s branch in Anseba region, Mr. Bokretsion Habtemichael, called on teachers to make tireless efforts for in nurturing educated and dynamic youths.
Habero, 3 December 2010 – In a meeting with teachers and Parents Committee in Habero sub-zone, the head of the Education Ministry’s branch in Anseba region, Mr. Bokretsion Habtemichael, called on teachers to make tireless efforts for in nurturing educated and dynamic youths.

He explained that absence and delays of teachers in beginning classes are among the main factors that negatively affect the teaching-learning process, and urged them to live up to expectations.

The head of schools in the sub-zone, Mr. Mohammed Jim’e Ahmed, said on his part that educational institutions in Habero sub-zone are showing encouraging competence. In this connection, he pointed out that fostering close coordination among teachers, students and parents has a vital role to play in upgrading student performance.

The participants of the meeting adopted a number of resolutions and recommendations aimed at ensuring the quality of education.
