Students in Beyan administrative area, Hamelmalo sub-zone, who used to attend classes in makeshift tent would now pursue education in comfortable classrooms thanks to the construction of a new school.
Hamelmalo, 7 December 2010 – Students in Beyan administrative area, Hamelmalo sub-zone, who used to attend classes in makeshift tent would now pursue education in comfortable classrooms thanks to the construction of a new school.
The newly built school comprises 3 classrooms and that it would provide educational opportunity to children who were deprived of education due to area remoteness and pastoral pattern of living.
Likewise, 10 restrooms and football field are under construction so as to tackle shortage of infrastructure facility in Libena Elementary and Junior School in the same sub-zone.
The Administrator of Libena administrative area, Mr. Matiwos Lukuas, commended the contribution of the local inhabitants in the construction of the school.
The inhabitants expressed satisfaction with the expansion of educational opportunity in their respective locality.
