Soil and water conservation activities have been carried out through popular campaign in 23 villages of Serejeka sub-zone, stated Mr. Gebrai Tekleab, head of reforestation and wildlife in the sub-zone. Mr. Gebrai further explained that most of the planted seedlings are in good condition thanks to the good rainy season. The Ministry of Agriculture is planning to plant over 485 hectares in 28 villages of the sub-zone in 2011, he added.
