Lime Production Plant in Barentu begins producing quality lime

Lime Production Plant in Barentu town which is run by Badme Construction Company has begun producing quality lime that is of high demand in construction works.

Barentu, 13 December 2010 – Lime Production Plant in Barentu town which is run by Badme Construction Company has begun producing quality lime that is of high demand in construction works.

The head of the company, Lt. Colonel Andemariam Woldenkiel, indicated that the experiment made this year has borne encouraging outcome.

He further pointed out that the Plant is producing 100 quintals of lime on daily basis, and that two big similar Plants have been set up in Gogne which would soon begin production so as to meet the demand at the national level.

The manager of bricks and lime plant in Badme Construction Company, Mr. Hajim Semna Hajim, said on his part that the necessary materials for the production of lime are being supplied from Gogne. There are 20 experts and about 100 daily laborers in the Lime Production Plant.
