Elementary And Junior Students In Adi-Andeil Carry Out Weeding Activities To Assist Families Of Fallen Heroes

The students of the elementary and junior school in Adi-Andeil, Southern region carried out weeding activities in the farmlands of martyrs’ families.

Mendefera, 19 December 2010 – The students of the elementary and junior school in Adi-Andeil, Southern region carried out weeding activities in the farmlands of martyrs’ families.

Ms. Abeba Teklu, one of the families of the fallen heroes, expressed appreciation for the students’ initiative saying that she was unable to finish the work by herself.

The Director of the school, Mr. Petros Desu, stated that more than 1,600 students and 18 teachers have taken part in the campaign conducted in villages of Eiamo, Adi-Awhi, Adi-Andeil, Onabta, Endamariam and Kudo-Zib’e.
