Eritrean Community in Dubai and North Emirate holds 5th congress

The Eritrean Community in Dubai and North Emirates held 5th Congress on December 17 under the theme: “Ready as ever for Resolute Rebuff and Development.”
Asmara, 21 December 2010 – The Eritrean Community in Dubai and North Emirates held 5th Congress on December 17 under the theme: “Ready as ever for Resolute Rebuff and Development.”

The Eritrean Consul General in Dubai and North Emirates, Mr. Yohannes Teklemichael, gave extensive briefings on the objective situation in the Homeland in general and the integrated national resolute rebuff against the unjust Sanctions Resolution No. 1907 in particular. In this connection, he called on Eritrean citizens in the Diaspora to step up contribution for the success of the all-round resolute rebuff.

The chairman of the Eritrean Community there, Mr. Seid Mahmoud, presented a 2-year work report on which the participants of the congress conducted in-depth discussion. The participants also elected a new Executive Committee that would coordinate the activities of the Community for the next two years.
