Close Tripartite Relations Vital In Upgrading The Quality Of Education: Report

Concerted action is being taken to foster close coordination among parents, schools and the concerned administrative body so as to upgrade the quality of education in She’ib sub-zone, stated Mr. Ahmed Ali, head of the Education Ministry’s branch in the sub-zone.

She’ib, 22 December 2010 – Concerted action is being taken to foster close coordination among parents, schools and the concerned administrative body so as to upgrade the quality of education in She’ib sub-zone, stated Mr. Ahmed Ali, head of the Education Ministry’s branch in the sub-zone.

He told ERINA that the participation of students in education, especially that of females is progressing well thanks to the coordinated endeavors being made to bring about qualitative changes in the education sector. In this regard, Mr. Ahmed noted that all students of the junior schools of Gedged, Wekiro and Tiluk have scored a passing mark in the national Grade 8 exams, which in turn attests to the commitment of parents, teachers and administrative areas.

He further called on the local inhabitants to avoid nomadic pattern of living and settle in permanent locality. There are 13 educational institutions in She’ib sub-zone ranging from kindergarten to secondary level, and that over 2,500 students, out of whom over 1,000 are females are attending classes this year, according to reports.
