Young employees in Barnetu Cement, Metal and Woodworks Plant strives to upgrade skill

The young employees of Berentu Cement, Metal and Woodworks Plant are striving to upgrade their skill, and thereby improve the standard of living.

Barentu, 23 December 2010 – The young employees of Berentu Cement, Metal and Woodworks Plant are striving to upgrade their skill, and thereby improve the standard of living.

During the graduation ceremony of the 50 young trainees, the group pointed out that the knowledge they have acquired would enable them to effectively discharge their duty at the Plant.

Mr. Filimon Teklai, one of the trainees, said that the skill-upgrading course is significant as regards creating job opportunities.

The manager of the Plant, Mr. Girmai Gebregergis, called on the graduates to apply the skill they had acquired at the workplace.

The Barnetu Cement, Metal and Woodworks Plant, has provided training to a total of 237 youths out of whom 21 are females in various skills since 2007.
