Government’s response in addressing public demands in Afabet sub-zone satisfactory: Assembly members
Assembly members in Afabet sub-zone expressed satisfaction with the Government’s urgent response towards fulfilling public demand put forth through members of the Assembly.
Afabet, 24 December 2010 – Assembly members in Afabet sub-zone expressed satisfaction with the Government’s urgent response towards fulfilling public demand put forth through members of the Assembly.
They indicated that 90% of the public demand has been met, which in turn enabled the inhabitants to be relieved of such problems.
The Assembly member further said that telephone, immigration, electricity and postal services were among the public demands the members put forth in which the Government has fully addressed. They went on to say that the expansion of equitable social services and infrastructure facilities across the nation fully attests to the Government’s correct policy.
Parallel with the demand put forth by the public, the local inhabitants are also fulfilling what is expected of them as regards undertaking development activities focusing on construction and renovation of roads, embankments and water catchments, as well as soil and water conservation.
