In accordance with the accord concluded with the Rejent International Educational Institution, the Eritrean Community in Jeddah and its environs opened an academic and vocational school within the premises of the Office of the Eritrean Consul General there.
Asmara, 27 December 2010 – In accordance with the accord concluded with the Rejent International Educational Institution, the Eritrean Community in Jeddah and its environs opened an academic and vocational school within the premises of the Office of the Eritrean Consul General there.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Eritrean Consul General to Jeddah, Mr. Abdurahman Osman, stated that the school is fully equipped with the necessary facilities and that it would serve both children and adults.
The school would provide internationally recognized courses in the fields of computer application, English language, photography and beauty science.
Meanwhile, out of 507 Eritrean citizens residing in Jeddah who pledged to assist over 620 families of fallen heroes, 389 nationals fulfilled the payment running for 2 years, and as such received certificates from the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare.
The head of pubic affairs, Mr. Saleh Mahmoud Sabe, said on his part that supporting families of martyrs is the responsibility of every citizen and lauded the sacred move taken by the nationals.
The nationals on their part stated that the responsibility of assisting families of fallen heroes provides moral satisfaction. They also take the responsibility of supporting 259 new families of martyrs.
