Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare extends support to needy nationals

At an assessment meeting conducted in the port city of Assab, the branch office of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare in the Southern Red Sea region said that the Ministry has implemented various activities worth about 4.2 million Nakfa in assistances to needy citizens.
Assab, 6 January 2011 – At an assessment meeting conducted in the port city of Assab, the branch office of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare in the Southern Red Sea region said that the Ministry has implemented various activities worth about 4.2 million Nakfa in assistances to needy citizens.

The head of the branch office, Mr. Mohammed Jabir, indicated that the assistance extended involves disabled citizens and families of fallen heroes. 

Likewise, the director of labor department in the Ministry, Mr. Woldeyesus Elisa, said that various activities have been undertaken to strengthen relations between employers and employees.
