Staff members of Gash-Barka regional Administration conduct tour of implemented development programs

About 100 nationals working in various administrative bodies in Gash-Barka region conducted a tour to observe the implementation of development programs in different parts of the region.
Barentu, 7 January 2011 – About 100 nationals working in various administrative bodies in Gash-Barka region conducted a tour to observe the implementation of development programs in different parts of the region.

The tour aimed at enabling the staff members whose work assignment is confined to the office to personally witness the development tasks accomplished, according to Mr. Rezene Abraha, head of administration and finance in the region.

In the course of the tour, the employees visited the Bisha mining site, Aligidir Agricultural Project, the dams of Gerset, Fanko Rawi and Fanko Tsimue, as well as the Gash Bridge.

The participants of the visit stated that the implementation of such major development programs fully attest to the coordinated endeavors of the people and the Government.
