Inhabitants Of Fanko Laud Tasks Accomplished In Fiesko Agricultural Project

The inhabitants of Fanko expressed admiration to the tasks being accomplished at Fiesko Agricultural Project and the construction of Fanko Rawi Dam. In expression of their satisfaction, they hosted a luncheon to members of the Warsay-Yikaalo Development Campaign taking active part in the undertaking which is bringing about visible improvement in their living standard. Tessenei, 8 January 2010 – The inhabitants of Fanko expressed admiration to the tasks being accomplished at Fiesko Agricultural Project and the construction of Fanko Rawi Dam. In expression of their satisfaction, they hosted a luncheon to members of the Warsay-Yikaalo Development Campaign taking active part in the undertaking which is bringing about visible improvement in their living standard.

The Administrator of Tessenei sub-zone, Mr. Tekleberhan Gebrewoldi, indicated that the implementation of such major development programs have already provided ample job opportunities to the local inhabitants. He further called on them to enhance collaboration with the campaigners.

The inhabitants said on their part that the area is experiencing speedy urbanization thanks to the implementation of various development programs at substantial expenditure. The also outlined the positive impact of such programs in their lifestyle. 

The manager of Fiesko Agriculture Project, Mr. Hailezgi Habte, pointed out that members of the public are actively engaged in the activities that is providing them added strength.
