Members of Debwin Construction Company said that the training opportunities being provided to them are making vital contribution in upgrading their skill.
Asmara, 11 January 2011 – Members of Debwin Construction Company said that the training opportunities being provided to them are making vital contribution in upgrading their skill.
They explained that they such opportunities are bringing about positive change in their work performance, and asserted readiness to back up the Company’s activities. The members further indicated that some of them have received a 2-year long vocational course, in addition to a 6-month long additional training opportunity.
Mr. Ephrem Afwerki, in charge of enterprise development in the Company, said that the training focused on electricity, plumbing, drafting, archives, data collection, wood works and the like. All the training programs are organized on the basis of the company’s internal resource and partners.
Moreover, the company has provided a 6-month long course to student assigned to it from the Eritrean Institute of Technology. Mr. Epherem further pointed out that the company, in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Mines, offered skill-upgrading training to staff members engaged in electricity service.
